Information about Reith
I am a graduate of University of Surrey and Queen Mary University of London with a Physics Bsc(Hons) & Financial Computing MSc respectively. I have been a tutor since 2017 and am aware of current curricula standards.
I believe firmly that tutoring should be tailored to match each student needs.
;
;Moreover, I take into account that tutoring sessions are extra works added to the students busy day at school or at the workplace. Consequently, I endeavour to make my lessons diverse and lively, to avoid students being bored or tired and at risk of giving up after the first sessions.
I make the session as interactive as possible to retain the students attention. The student reads the lesson and we point out together the main ideas. After that, he /she will write summary notes under my supervision. Then comes some sample exam questions. Finally, I end the session by a quiz about the topic that we have studied previously. However, when the exams are getting closer, we work on past papers .
I`m fluent in French, Arabic (and English) as I am French-Moroccan, having moved here when I was 8, I have been educated in the UK and am familiar with the preparation needed to pass the exams necessary at a high level of success. AABB at A-level in French, Mathematics, Economics and Physics respectively.
Completed GCSE courses attaining 11 A and A* grades:
Maths A. English Literature A. French A. English Language A/ Spanish A. Physics A. Chemistry A. Biology A/ Business Studies AA / Statistics A
My strengths are in Maths, Physics and French. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any enquiries!
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have undertaken a World Challenge expedition where I tutored children at an orphanage in the Bentong region of Malaysia to teach them English.
I also worked as a Service Auditor for Colas Ltd, which has deepened my understanding of advanced computational mathematics.
I have been tutoring my classmates at university frequently to test my understanding of the subject while we have been preparing for exams and have found myself greatly enjoying this.
I have helped students get from predicted C grade to A grade for GCSEs and A-level, do not hesitate to contact me! .
