Maths and Science Home Tutoring. All ages and abilities up to and including GCSE.

I offer both short periods of home tutoring and weekly lessons. Each lesson will be planned according to your needs and I will provide worksheets, powerpoints, homework and exam question practice. The lessons will incorporate different learning styles including kinaesthetic and visual, and will give support with exam technique and different ways to remember facts and descri ptions.

Experience: I have 16 years of classroom teaching experience and 5 years of private tutoring experience.
To date I have taught a range of science and maths GCSE and A-Level courses from exam boards Edexcel, OCR and AQA.
I also have 17 years of experience as an examiner for Edexcel and then AQA including 6 years of managing and writing questions for the Applied Science exam paper. I now am a senior examiner on the Trilogy Physics Paper 1 Higher Tier.
Furthermore, I have also co-written a text book and online resources for Applied Science published by Nelson Thornes.
Also, I have been a science consultant for AQA for 2 years giving feedback on the exams at 4 hub schools across the North of England.
