Hi, my name is Stephanie.
I`m a qualified teacher, previously working as a secondary school Maths teacher. I left this summer to go into teaching yoga. I`m now a yoga teacher, but I want to still use my love and knowledge of Maths by tutoring in the subject.
I find Maths such an enjoyable topic, I like to try to spark that interest in others, or at the very least to help people overcome any Maths fears or confidence crises.
I would describe myself as a calm, patient and reliable person.
I am happy to tutor from primary up to GCSE level. I also have SEN experience.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Availability: I am mostly looking for weekday afternoons or evenings, apart from Monday and Thursday evening. I am quite flexible with times though, and open to weekend work, so message me with your preferred time and hopefully we can arrange something.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I am a qualified teacher, and worked for two years in a secondary school. From my teaching experience I have skills in finding different ways and methods to explain concepts. When teaching, I always preferred helping people on a one-to-one basis, rather then in a large class of 30, so I`m looking forward to helping individuals in their Maths confidence or exam preparation.

Stephanie has been brilliant. We are still using her and my boys maths has been improving. Highly recommended.
great tutor, kind and patient- the ideal!
Stephanie is really good. My daughter has only had 4 lessons and feels she has improved already. She is an extremely good tutor.
Steph has set up a really good rapport with my son and he is beginning to understand some maths that he has never `got` before and actually seems to look forward to the sessions
