Hi, my name is Stephanie.

I`m a qualified teacher, previously working as a full time secondary school Maths teacher. I left in order to start teaching yoga. I currently teach maths part time in a school, and I now have two years of experience privately tutoring in Maths. I`m also a yoga teacher, but I want to still use and share my love and knowledge of Maths.

I find Maths such an enjoyable topic, I like to try to spark that interest in others, or at the very least to help people overcome any Maths fears or confidence crises, to make it through exams.

I would describe myself as a calm, patient and reliable person.

I am happy to tutor from year 8 up to GCSE level. I also have SEN experience.

Availability: I currently have only limited availability for tutoring. If you are willing to be tutored at my home near the Elm Grove area in Brighton, (or you live near here), then it is more likely I can accommodate.

From my teaching experience I have skills in finding different ways and methods to explain concepts. When teaching, I always preferred helping people on a one-to-one basis, rather then in a large class of 30, so I`m looking forward to helping individuals in their Maths confidence or exam preparation.
