I am a patient, creative and a highly qualified teacher, certain that with my substantial teaching, leading and management experience, my natural ability to build close rapport with students (and parents) and impressive qualifications obtained from leading universities, I can contribute greatly to your child`s educational achievements.

For me, teaching is more than just a job; it is a belief. I chose this profession 10 years ago to nurture, facilitate and help children to realise their full potential; for them to improve and strengthen their existing skills and have the courage and self-confidence to develop new ones, academically as well personally and socially; to become independent learners and be equipped to solve problems resiliently, in all aspects of life.

I feel that tutoring allows all of the above on a deeper level, with personalised learning, pace and attention. My methods of teaching/ tutoring ensure that the child can access the learning and yet is challenged enough to feel successful once completing the work. Learning tasks are varied, fun and engaging, to keep the student stimulated and focused at all times - which can be quite challenging for some pupils during private lessons. I am firm but fair and thus am confident that I can help even the most restless of children to achieve their true potential.

I love travelling, exploring new cultures and learning new things. I have recently returned from an 8 month trip in South and Central America, which provided me with an amazing outlet to return to teaching/ tutoring with an abundance of energy. I love dancing salsa, going to theatres and reading, as well as spending quality time with family and friends.

Availability: I am available to tutor in person as well as online, during the day and late afternoons/early evenings. I am a patient, creative and a highly qualified teacher (with a PGCE and Masters from Cambridge University) with 10 years of teaching experience in Primary and Middle Schools (both within London and internationally, in state and private schools) and 6 years experience of private tutoring. I am confident with the British National Curriculum, as well as preparing for entry exams (4+ to 11+), specialise in teaching English (up to KS3) and consequently have been Head of English for the last 4 years, as well as Head of Key Stage 2.
