I am a professional tutor with ten years experience in supporting children in their learning. Six of which within a school as a Higher Level Assistant Teacher where upon observation, it was most recently noted that my work is carried out to an ‘outstanding’ level.

My main expertise lies with one-to-one teaching and group interventions. Mainly, I teach children who require additional support, want to stay on top of the curriculum or would like an extra push leading up to milestone exams. Specialising in maths and English at KS1, KS2, and KS3 (ages 4-13). My teaching approach is assertive yet fun and empathetic.

I am also qualified in Child-Centered Interprofessional Practice, in which I gained a First at Degree Level. In my studies, together with my years of experience, I continue to see the rewards of inspiring and teaching children. I believe in promoting a love for learning in a happy and positive environment; teaching with patience.

I am DBS checked and Safeguarding training. Also, I a mum of three children which only adds to my understanding. I teach children online during the evenings. My first session is without charge which gives the opportunity for all to meet and discuss how we can work together to achieve the best academic outcome for your child.

I feel teaching is demanding yet hugely rewarding - especially whilst working with children at this vital, formative period of their educational development.

Experience: Experienced tutor with a background in supporting teaching in primary and high schools: Running and managing interventions and focus groups to increase children`s individual levels, specialising in mathematics and English.

My experience is with primary and high school children at all levels, including those with Special Educational Needs, English as an Additional Language, and those working above age-related expectations.
