Information about Ali
I have a Masters in Education at Dublin City University, where I spent two years teacher training. This involved two separate teaching placements as well as pedagogical training.
I also hold an Honours Degree in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science from Galway / Mayo Institute of Technology.
As a teacher, I have learned the value and reward of hard work and dedication, as well as gaining an in depth understanding of maths and science.
Through my Masters in education, I have also developed a strong understanding of how to plan well-structured lessons and knowledge of how students learn.
In my time teaching in England, I have taught at KS3, KS4 and KS5. This means I have an in-depth knowledge of the UK science and Maths curriculum, which I would be confident in delivering to all students.
Additionally, my previous experience working as a tutor has provided me with the opportunity to support students both one-to-one and in small groups. I found this to be a truly rewarding experience and I look forward to continuing to help students achieve their goals.
