Information about Yoko
I am Japanese and a trained language teacher located in Bearwood, Bournemouth. I`ve been teaching all different levels at Bournemouth University as well as private individuals.
I appreciate the complexities in learning a new language and my lessons are always fun and enjoyable. I also teach Japanese culture, custom & manners.

As a relative beginner I was very impressed with the way the tutor was able to strip things back to basics. I was provided with the essential building blocks of the language in a fun and informative way that will make a solid foundation for future learning. Top marks!

Yoko is an excellent teacher who more than adequately prepared me for a couple of Japanese exams. Yoko has simple explanations for all aspects of Japanese grammar and culture, as well as a dictionary-like knowledge of kanji. I highly recommend Yoko to anyone looking to learn or improve their Japanese.
