I am a recent English graduate, having received a high 2.1 honours degree from University College London (UCL) alongside an academic award (Elsie Hitchcock Prize 2017/18) for best performance in Literary Linguistics. I was awarded with three A*s in my A-levels, and believe I have a strong knowledge of the course content of A Level English Literature, Drama and Art, as well as what the examiners are looking for in A/A* responses for exams. I can also help with GCSE English Literature and Language for any text/ area of the exams. I am well experienced in teaching particularly A-level and GCSE English literature having tutored students throughout my degree and my final sixth form where I was a classroom aid for KS3 and KS4 English lessons.

For English Literature, I will offer help not solely with the prescribed text, but also offer suggestions of further reading and historical context. This will ensure the student garners a greater understanding of the text and literary impact, crucial for higher marks in exams. I also can offer help on essay writing, structure, style and close analysis.

If you are interested in Drama and Art tutoring, my main areas of focus will be the written portions of these qualifications, however, I am also able to aid in the practical work if necessary.

Experience: I have 5 years of experience tutoring for English, my former tutees have all received grades 7-9 (A and A*) for both GCSE and A Level, with some jumping 4 grades from when I first started tutoring them.
