As an experienced Chemistry teacher, I have worked in different schools, both in the state and independent sector. I currently hold the post of Head of Key Stage 3 for Science, and am comfortable with all three sciences, as I have taught them all to GCSE level, and Chemistry to A-Level standard.

I have a proven record of transforming the grades of KS3, GCSE and A-level students to at least 2 levels higher than they commence on, as my technique aims to focus on fine-tuning pupils` understanding of key concepts and applying them to novel scenarios. I am comfortable teaching students from a variety of backgrounds and educational needs, and have done so for the last 6 years.

I am familiar with teaching Biology and Chemistry according to the OCR, AQA and Edexcel specifications.

I firmly believe that my experience in teaching across a range of schools with students and tutees of varying needs and abilities has equipped me to be in the strongest position to help further your child`s academic advancement.

Availability: I am available in the evening (after 5.30pm) and on weekends.
