Hi. I am an Economics student that really enjoys the broad nature of my subject. I find it fascinating to link key concepts and theories learned in the classroom, to real life application you see daily on the news.
I understand the extreme stress of exam season and am just looking to ease your minds to make sure when it comes to the exam you`re as ready and can be in order to ace it.
Personally, I enjoy many sports such as netball, tennis, gymnastics and cheerleading, some of which I participate in university. I am a member of the Economics, Finance and Management society, as well as Afro-Caribbean society, both of which I enjoy thoroughly.
I am incredibly committed to helping my students become wholly confident with all revision material before their exam, in order for them to ace it.
I will focus on breaking down concepts in order to understand the foundation of the subject to make all questions seem easier.
My lesson structure is very flexible, but it would be most useful if my students came prepared with any questions or queries so that together we could work through the material to help realty comprehend the topic.
Personally, I believe that repetition is really important to mastering content and to come back and revise things is very useful. I also believe that using mark schemes to develop exam technique is one of the most helpful parts of the revision process.
When I was preparing for my school exams, I found my revision worked best when broken down into stages: content review and understanding, practice questions and review, followed by doing past papers.
I think it’s very important to be as prepared as possible with the entire syllabus for your exams and I aim to work with my students as hard as possible until we achieve this.
