Lavan

I study medicine at Barts and the London and I am currently in my 3rd year. I previously attended QE school for boys, a top grammar school, and achieved 3 A*s for A-level in maths, biology and chemistry. I also achieved seven 9`s, three 8`s and two A*s for GCSE.

Availability: I am free all day on Sundays.

Experience: I have privately tutored maths and chemistry for a year and I have received excellent feedback from my students in terms of grades that they have achieved and improvements that they have made in the subjects that I have taught them. I care about all my students` progress and I ensure that I tailor the lessons that I deliver in a way that breaks down topics into smaller simple steps. I also will address any difficulties or weaknesses that a student may have to ensure that they are more confident by the end of the lesson.

I have also been a volunteer in a primary school and I would teach them maths which was above the scope of what they needed to know for the year that they were in. I was able to help them understand concepts that were challenging for their age and were able to make them more confident in their abilities.
