Maddy

I am a Primary school teacher, currently teaching Year Four as well as music to the whole school.
I am a fun and hard working and enjoy working with children and seeing them progress. I have been teaching for 5 years now and doing 1:1 tutoring in a range of different subjects for around a year. I trained as a music teacher but have since become a primary class teacher, but also get to teach music to other classes in the school. I enjoy going to music gigs and concerts in my free time, as well as spending time with my friends and going to pub quizzes.

Availability: I am available Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings after school. I could potentially do a Saturday morning but this would be subject to change depending on commitments etc.

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I have been a teacher for 5 years and have worked hard with the children I have taught to ensure they achieve their best (this might not necessarily be the top grades, but I can see a child`s potential and help them grow. I have been tutoring for around a year mainly in Primary Maths, English and Music. One of the parents of a tutee said:

I have a fun approach to learning and I like to make my sessions enjoyable for the child, as I am aware that they have been at school all day and it can be harder to focus. I am a lively character and believe I am good at spotting strength and weaknesses in a child, which helps me to help them.

I am happy to do a first session for free so you and your child can meet me and see how you feel, and then we can go from there with regular sessions if you so wish.
