I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (First class honours) and have a wide experience of working with children and adults of many different ages. I am an experienced, enthusiastic and friendly professional tutor committed to helping students reach their full potential. I have been working as a private tutor for 5 years and it has been my privilege in that time to watch students grow in their confidence and ability.
I teach Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry for KS3, GCSE and A-level students. I am well organised and manage time effectively.

Experience: I carry out individual assessment from time to time to monitor and evaluate their progress. Tutees and their parents are always welcome to discuss with me if they have any difficult areas within the subject to concentrate more. I take a very calm, enthusiastic and prepared approach with my students. I like to use many different approaches in a tutoring session to keep attention focused and help students see things in different ways. These include whiteboard work, computer quizzes, apps and games. Past papers are practised during the session to make sure that the student gets the exam techniques well.

Anu, Is an intelligent and capable teacher who has an excellent approach to her subject and student. The lessons are well paced and slowed the minute an issue needs to be explored in more detail. Anu will then us a number of different approaches to both teach and clarify that the issue has been understood. The use of passed papers and her knowledge of the marking process provides both confidence in her approach to maximise paper scores and provide lasting knowledge in the core subject.

Anu has been tutoring my daughter in A-Level Physics for two months now. Anu is flexible, friendly, kind and always very well-prepared__she is very knowledgeable about the exam boards and the different styles of questions__and has really helped my daughter to understand and apply concepts she had been struggling with. I would highly recommend Anu as a tutor. She`s restored my daughter`s confidence, and has enabled her to reach her full potential in this subject.

Anu, has helped me become a confident student in Physics, before going to her I did not understand even the fundamentals, and after being tutored for only a couple of months I feel confident to degree that I am able to help my other class mates. I am always welcomed with a smile and Anu even remembers what is happening in my life making the sessions personal, she likes to make her students feel welcome and comfortable which is shown in her joking and laughing with you. I would defiantly recommend her to anyone who is struggling with science, and I only wish I had her when I was doing my GCSE`s.
