I am a highly experienced Science Teacher. Most Recently I have been the Head of Chemistry, Head of Scholarships, Head of Year and Examiner. I have previously been part of the Senior leadership team and Lead for Science.

During my time in teaching I have been privileged to have had the following responsibilities:

-Second in Science
-Lead in Postgraduate Teacher Training for Science
-Resources and Curriculum Management for Science
-Digital Education Platforms Training and Support
-Year achievement coordination
-Special Educational Needs Coordination for Science


I trained for teacher training at the prestigious Kings College London. Whist training I was also selected to be course representative.

I can teach a range of subjects from primary school level, Geology, Secondary School Science and Maths. I have experience of putting infrastructure into a Science department. I have taught at all levels and can ensure your child will make progress. Most recently I have taken a year 11 class through GCSE Science in 6 months and achieved grades above their targets. I have ingenuity, skills, knowledge, commitment and flair to adapt the topic to your child’s needs. Therefore your child can gain a greater understanding and excel. Furthermore I can bring Science to life by putting most topics into real life situations or by explain using media based articles.

I will assess all strengths and weaknesses to gage what help and assistance is required. Providing a programme of individualised study decided with them in advance. I will then put strategies in place to help your child to achieve.
