Why me?
As a fully qualified teacher and lecturer, with a distinction award, I bring my experience of teaching in outstanding independent, comprehensive and further education schools, using an array of resources and my personal development into my tuition classes.
• I have exceptional qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE (Distinction), BSc (Hons), NVQ Speech and Language & Enhanced DBS checked.
• Ample experience and success in teaching science to primary, entrance exams, and GCSE students.
• I have taught 3000+ hours to 2000+ students in both schools and tuition lessons.
• Vast knowledge and expertise in teaching AQA, Edexcel, Edexcel IGCSE & OCR exation boards.
• Additionally, I am dedicated to learning and personal development – I am currently studying a Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching.

I became a tutor to have a greater educational impact on my students at the individual level so to fully attend to individual pupil needs which are often missed in schools.
In my experience, pupils are often afraid to ask for support when struggling with learning complex topics and we all know that children can struggle with science. During my studies, I was diagnosed with dyslexia and found learning to be difficult. Extra tuition was my lifeline to reaching my potential.
My goal is to help pupils of all abilities also achieve their potential. I want to help pupils move beyond learning by rote, to really understand scientific concepts and develop their passion for science. I can accomplish this by assessing strengths and weaknesses and then personalising the lesson to suit the student’s needs. You can be assured that I will do my utmost to support and challenge my students.
How I work and my expectations
Within our lessons, I will help to boost your exation knowledge and techniques. We will focus on difficult topics to enhance confidence and understanding. Additionally, I will provide guidance and tailored focus, for all types of learners, on key scientific concepts expected for your qualification.
I expect hard work and continual independent studies outside of tuition lessons to maximise progress made and consolidate learning. I employ a reflective approach to ensure that I am getting the most progress I possibly can from my students, combined with providing honest advice and feedback to successfully ensure utmost progress is being made.
