Hi!

I`m a native Chinese speaker, born in Yangzhou, and now residing in Newcastle where I teach Mandarin and do interpreting.

I know learning Chinese can be daunting, unfamiliar, and confusing. The array of Chinese teachers is equally baffling, and hard to chose between. So, why me?

Firstly, I am fluent in English, and understand the difficulties that are unique to English speakers when learning Chinese. Your progress is also my progress, and I am invested in your Chinese learning and will do my utmost to support you. I can bring the language to life with a vivid integration of Chinese culture I am proud of my Chinese heritage, and play traditional Chinese instruments, cook Chinese food every day, have learned about Chinese medicine, and drink gallons of tea! :-D

Availability: I have good availability throughout the week, and some over the weekend. Just get in touch and we can see what works!

Experience: I have private students in Newcastle from age 3 upward, and I am also involved in teaching children at the Newcastle Mandarin Chinese School in Gosforth. I have taught adults across a range of abilities, and enjoy working with all ages.
