Do you need some extra help to get the grade you deserve? Do you want to start thinking about the topics you learn about in school in a deeper and higher-level way? Do you have an interest in philosophy, ethics or religion that goes beyond simply wanting to get a good grade? Are you thinking of applying to study philosophy, theology or religious studies at a high-end university? If you said "yes" to any of these questions, I may be the tutor you`re looking for!

I have just graduated from Oxford University with a 2:1 in Philosophy and Theology, and I offer tutoring in Philosophy, Philosophy & Ethics and Religious Studies at A-Level, IB and GCSE. I`d love to help you explore the key issues of philosophy and ethics in ways you that perhaps you feel unable to within the constraints of your sixth-form lessons.

I will start by asking what you want to get out of the tutorials, and adapt the content and style of my teaching to your needs. When teaching a particular topic (e.g. the problem of evil and suffering), I will probably begin by asking what you already know and think about it, based on your A-Level work, and help you to explore it further. I will try to give you the stimulus and the space to develop your own ideas and thoughts. If you`re thinking of applying to Oxford or Cambridge, it will be great practice for interviews!

I can also help you to schedule your time and build useful habits, so you can be productive while allowing yourself enough time to rest, relax and have fun.
