Information about Carol
I am an experienced French teacher and have extensive knowledge of the A level curriculum. I can really make a difference to A Level grades.
I have particularly positive feedback from students regarding improving essay writing skills; preparing for speaking exams; grammatical knowledge; and how to tackle translations and summaries. I have a lot of experience in helping students focus on the elements of the exam which will have the greatest impact on grade improvement.
Online classes can be very effective for practising for speaking exams. I offer practice and support, with detailed constructive feedback, based on exam mark schemes. to build confidence and improve performance.
Availability: In term time, Wednesdays and week day evenings.

Experience: I have twenty years teaching experience, including A level and GCSE French. I have experience teaching the following literary texts: "No et moi", L`étranger", and the films: "Au revoir les enfants", "La Haine", and "Un secret".
