I have a passion for teaching and English, so I find teaching and tutoring very rewarding and enjoyable. I am keen to help, encourage and challenge students to achieve their full potential in a positive environment. With practice, direction and self-belief it is amazing what can be achieved!

Availability: I am fairly flexible with hours and days at the moment. I can work from home or come to your home, depending on what is most convenient and works most effectively.

Experience: I am in my fifteenth year of teaching English. For many years, I worked at a school in Dorset, where I had the opportunity for internal promotions and became Director of English from 2015-17. I relocated to Wales with my partner in 2017 due to his job and then again, to Hereford, in 2019.I have taught many different specifications at GCSE from WJEC in England and Wales, iGCSE and AQA. I have worked with a wide range of students (ages, abilities, needs and interests) over the years, both as a teacher and in a tutoring capacity.
