I am originally from California, but have now lived in England for more than 10 years. I attended university where I studied Mathematics and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in the subject. I have a passion for maths and can easily switch between different problem solving methods to either provide consistency between what is being taught at school or introduce new methods to aid those who just aren`t understanding. I believe the best way to teach is through by bringing maths to life by showing students how the problem solving skills they are learning can be used in their everyday lives.

Experience: I spent some time as a supply teacher while also working as a maths tutor for an independent study school for students who had been expelled from secondary school. I have also worked with primary aged children for the past 7 years.
