I am a freelance linguist with a a BA in Contemporary European Languages and a Career Affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists in London (CIOL).

I offer French and Spanish tuition to all learners of all levels, from academic students (KS1 through to A Level and sometimes Degree Level) to adult learners. My lessons suit any student who needs help with their work, anybody looking to learn either language from scratch or for an advanced speaker who wants to sharpen their skills.

I ensure that my lessons are as engaging as possible and cover all elements of the language-learning process- reading, writing, listening, and in particular speaking practice.

I require a minimum period of 12 hours for free cancellations if students cannot make lessons.

Availability: Weekday afternoons and evenings. Weekend afternoons/evenings subject to availability.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have extensive experience in one-on-one language tuition, having helped a diverse range of students of all ages and levels over the years. The key elements I incorporate into each of my lessons are:

- My own individual learning resources designed to provide the perfect balance of reading, listening, writing and oral practice based on whichever topic or subject at student wishes or needs to focus upon
- Extensive speaking/oral practice, i.e. the crucial element of language learning that no internet resources, language apps, dictionaries and textbooks can offer
- My own experience studying and mastering both languages and then putting them to use, both in my work and my personal life (i.e. travelling, social connections etc.)
