An outstanding record both as a teacher and an examiner makes me an ideal choice as a tutor. 35 years of experience in the teaching of A level Economics and 28 years for A level and GCSE Business Studies. I am a highly rated member of the senior examining team for AQA A level Economics - Grade A (consistently excellent).
Since retiring from full-time teaching I have been very active delivering courses to teachers on behalf of AQA, as a consultant to a number of schools, tutoring trainee teachers at Lincoln University, and as a tutor delivering revision courses for a major national company.
I have also now been delivering online and face-to-face tuition for the past six years. My outstanding reviews are a testimony to the quality of tuition provided. I can relate easily to students of all abilities - from those who are struggling, to those aiming for A*. I respond to the particular needs of students in a way which makes them feel very comfortable and gives them confidence. I have also developed a range of supplementary materials which I make available to my tutees.
