I am a classically trained pianist currently finishing a Master`s degree in composition at the Royal Academy of Music.

I have had extensive experience teaching English (for GCSE and as a foreign language) and tutoring music theory, composition and piano to individuals both young and old, as well as leading education workshops in primary schools. I am also experienced in teaching 11+, 13+ and 16+ entrance exams.

My main focus with tutoring is to build academic self-esteem in students while creating a compassionate learning environment tailored to their individual needs, enabling them to fulfil their potential.

I have also had significant experience as a published composer and performer, winning multiple international competitions and working personally with some of Europe`s leading contemporary music ensembles.

Availability: All day on Sundays and Mondays, mornings for the rest of the week.

Experience: Tutoring piano, 11+, 13+, maths and English for the last 4 years. Student ages have ranged from 7 to 50, with all students wanting further lessons after the initial session, and most having long-term lessons.

Extensive piano playing and music composition experience.

Bachelor`s degree in music from the University of York.
Alumnus of the Purcell School for Young Musicians.
Grade 8 ABRSM in piano, and music theory.
