Since my time in Secondary School my abiding passions have been Languages and Music.

I started to learn Piano at 9, French at 11 and German at 14, and have been lucky enough to enjoy a long career teaching the subjects I love.

Availability: I am available most afternoons and evenings, and some mornings, seven days a week.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I gained my degree in 1979 and qualified as a teacher (PGCE Modern Languages and English) in 1985.
I subsequently taught German (Keystage 3 to A Level) and French (Keystage 3) at Secondary level (11-18).

I have also been an Assistant Examiner at GCSE German (Oral, Reading, Writing and Listening) with various boards, including WJEC.

I have taught adults throughout my career, including local authority classes, and continue to do so.

I have also taught Piano, Keyboard and Music Theory to individual students since the mid 1980s.
