Over ten years teaching experience at secondary school level with consistently outstanding results for both GCSE and A level Economics and Business Studies. I am well versed in teaching all exam boards and have also taught students internationally.
I am a specialist in adding value - ensuring students beat target grades and I have consistently done this throughout my career. Ofsted have also deemed me an outstanding teacher. At my place of work I am a Lead Practitioner that specialises in helping students grasp and cement information effectively whilst adopting a scholarly culture.
My teaching style is highly interactive and passionate. I believe that economics should never feel abstract or distant, so I use imagery, storytelling, and key examples-from supermarket pricing strategies to global financial crises—to make each lesson engaging and memorable.
A typical lesson begins with a thought-provoking question or scenario, followed by guided exploration of the topic using diagrams, case studies, and collaborative activities. We then consolidate learning through structured exam practice, helping students apply their knowledge with precision and confidence. This blend of creativity and rigour ensures that every lesson is not just informative, but also empowering.

Kishan has been working with my son for a few weeks now. Together they have focussed on exam technique and how to improve the quality of his answers. My son has enjoyed the lessons and found them very beneficial and they have helped boost his confidence. Communication has also been excellent.
