Phillip is teaching Grade 5 music theory to my 15-year-old daughter who has had very little formal music training but is keen to learn. He is an inspirational teacher, full of passion and ideas and has opened up a whole new world of music to her. She has enthused about the classes, discussing what she has learned afterwards and always looking forward to the next one. He has judged the level very well - challenging without being intimidating. Phillip clearly has complete mastery of the subject and is a great teacher too.

I would recommend Philip as a music tutor. He is a very good teacher, reliable and organised. Even though The lessons are on zoom?he has a very nice way with the students making the lessons enjoyable and very productive. Thank you!
