I am a fully qualified and experienced primary school teacher who has been teaching for the last 23 years in Solihull primary schools. I am available for face-to-face or online tuition. Face to face sessions take place at my home in Solihull.
Areas of expertise: Maths and English (reading, writing, handwriting, grammar & spelling), KS1 & KS2 SATs and special educational needs.

Availability: 4:00 - 8:30 pm Mon-Fri
8:00 am - 4:00 pm Saturday

Experience: I have vast experience of supporting learners of all levels to make progress, including more able children as well as those with special educational needs.
I qualified as a teacher in 1999 (B.Ed Honours) from the University of Derby.
For the past 23 years, I have been employed in permanent class teacher and leadership roles (including KS2 Lead and Deputy Head) in Solihull primary schools, teaching all ages from 3-11, teaching all subjects and leading maths across the whole school.
I have up-to-date knowledge of the current primary curriculum, educational expectations and methods.
I am able to assess pupils and identify their gaps in learning to establish starting points for their individualised learning program.
