Information about Tom

I am highly qualified graduate with a BSc, MSci, PhD in chemistry and a PGCE in secondary science. I am no longer working as a teacher but looking to help those who are struggling with science and chemistry in particular up to A-level and degree level.

Availability: I am available all day everyday except for weekends, but I need some advance warning in case I have meetings. I have put down the distance I am willing to travel as 15 miles. That means that I will travel into the Birmingham and Lichfield/Staffordshire areas.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I have taught science full time at secondary schools throughout my PGCE course and taught at university throughout my Masters and PhD courses within the undergraduate laboratory and workshops.

He is an extremely knowledgeable and brilliant tutor. He can break topics down and make complex topics very easy. He is very approachable, easy to talk to and patient. He is very systematic and organised. I felt he answered all of my questions on the topics he has taught me so far. He also gives a great exam prep practice. He is an excellent tutor.
