Information about Blossom

I`m Blossom, a History of Art graduate from St John`s College, Cambridge. I help students strengthen their subject knowledge, sharpen their exam technique, and build the confidence to perform at their best, whether that`s acing a GCSE paper or crafting a standout personal statement.

I specialise in English Literature, English Language, Drama/Theatre, Fine Art and Art History at GCSE/KS3 and A-Level, and I guide students through the full university application process, from personal statements to interviews and pre-interview assessments.

I`m warm, approachable and genuinely invested in each student`s progress. My own path, from top exam results to Cambridge and then an International Academic Scholarship to Italy, means I understand both what it takes to succeed academically and how to make the process feel achievable rather than overwhelming.

Availability: Weekly fixed online sessions. I`m quick to respond to students and parents via TutorHunt, WhatsApp, message or email for scheduling, updates, and any questions along the way.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: With over 5 years of tutoring experience, both in person and online, I`ve worked with students across every level, from KS3 beginners to A-Level candidates aiming for Oxbridge and Russell Group offers, consistently helping them lift their grades and secure places at their top-choice universities.

I have years of hands-on experience with AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Cambridge International exam boards, and I know exactly what examiners are looking for at every level. I tailor each session to the specific board and spec my students are studying, so revision time is spent on what will actually produce results in the exam room.

Beyond exam technique, I take a warm and welcoming approach to every session, creating a relaxed, pressure-free space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I adapt my teaching style to each individual, whether that means slowing down to build confidence with a nervous learner or challenging a stronger student with more advanced material. No two students learn the same way, so no two of my lessons look exactly alike.
