I qualified as a secondary school teacher from Reading University back in July 2005, specialising in German and French. I have taught German across Key Stages 3-5, French in Key Stages 3 and 4 plus English, History and PE in Key Stage 3 in a few different secondary schools in Kent and Surrey over the last 7 years. I completed a temporary two-term teaching contract with a secondary school in Horley, Surrey, in July 2012. I am currently teaching MFL and also a Year 6 class at Meadows special needs school in Southborough, Kent, which I find rewarding.

Availability: Weekday evenings.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I like to practise different subject skills during tutoring sessions, such as speaking, reading, writing and memory activities. I am adaptable and flexible to each student`s needs and I try to make the atmosphere as friendly and relaxed as possible. I expect focus and hard work from all students that I would tutor. I hope this leads to enjoyment and success in the final outcome. One of my recent tutees from last year achieved a B grade in IGCSE German having started off at E grade standard during Year 10.
