I am a fully qualified and experienced Maths teacher. I am completely familiar with the new 9-1 GCSEs and have been involved in various national projects which aim to build Maths confidence in young people. I believe passionately that a solid understanding of Maths is essential, not just to pass exams, but also to provide young people with confidence for leading independent and fulfilling lives. I am very experienced at teaching a wide range of learners, some who had previously believed that they could never succeed at Maths.I am friendly and enthusiastic and always put learners at ease and take the time to explain all concepts properly to them. This is vital to ensure that all learners, whatever their ability, believe in themselves and their own ability. I am also very experienced at teaching learners who are targeting higher grades to achieve their maximum potential.

Experience: I am a fully qualified teacher and hold a PGCE. I also have a BSc (Hons) in Applied Economics. I have been teaching Maths GCSE for the past 6 years. I retrained to become a teacher after a career in International Finance.I have recently left a full time teaching position and would love to share my passion and enthusiasm for Maths with young people.I hope to inspire young people to enjoy Maths and to really believe that they can succeed, even if they have previously found Maths difficult.
