I am a teacher of mathematics currently based in the St Helens area. I have experience of teaching higher and foundation syllabus I will tailor all work to ensure that students are given every opportunity to succeed. I will also work on exam technique in preparation for assessment periods.

Students who struggle with maths, facing the prospect of missing out on the grades they need, sometimes just require a different approach - the same principles but explained in a more individual and personally relevant way and in a more informal and enjoyable environment than is available in a classroom. That is my approach. I am confident in my ability to connect with all types of student and help them better grasp the subject, appreciate its relevance and develop simple techniques to pass and excel in exams.

Experience: Currently working in a secondary school in St. Helens, have also taught at primary and SEN schools.
