Information about Clare
Hi, I`m Clare. I have a first in Physical Science from the Open University, and have over 10 years` experience of tutoring both Maths and Physics up to A-level, and also Biology and Chemisty to GCSE.
I`ve got children of my own, now through university, so I understand the pressures imposed on children by the education system, and the importance for many students of building confidence. I have run meditation groups, and can help students with stress reduction and relaxation techniques if appropriate.
I love Physics in particular, and am a qualified teacher, but have found that I prefer teaching students one to one or in small groups.
Having worked for many years as an acupuncturist, and lectured acupuncture students in pathology and physiology, I have a good knowledge of human biology.
Availability: weekdays, weekends
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have worked in schools as a physics teacher, and successfully tutored students in physics and maths for GCSE and A level. I have a good understanding of the requirements for Edexcel, AQA and OCR exam boards.

My daughter is enjoying her A level physics tutorials with Claire, the one-on-one time this is giving her allows her to focus on the areas that she finds hardest. She likes Claire`s style and finds her easy to work with and understand.
