Experience: I am bachelor in Mechanical Engineering with strong mathematics and science background. I also have 18 years of professional experience in top corporate. Due to deep interest, I have restarted teaching. I would like to help children to improve their confidence and achieve success in mathematics. I also teach science.
I have 8 years of tuition experience at all levels of students. I am able to remove fear of mathematics in many students and improve their confidence. I feel immense happiness when I contribute in transforming students life.
I am currently teaching A-level, GCSE, KS3 students and primary students preparing for SAT, 11+ and entry into private school. I have deep understanding of syllabus and exam pattern for A level/GCSE in both Maths and Science.
I provide all practice/study material and mock papers (especially for Edexel) so you need not to worry about any text book.
I have a strong belief that mathematics is not a complex subject. My focus is on making things simpler and work hard on fundamentals. I avoid giving direct solutions to students on any problem instead support them to come out with solution on their own. Another key factor for success in mathematics is regular practice, each repetition of same topic results in value addition in terms of speed, accuracy and permanent persistence of fundamentals in mind.
For science, I try to make student able to explain concepts in a simple language and able to write in exam in their own words without much memorizing.
My strategy includes building strong connect with student, motivate them and give them vision so that they can see 10 years ahead and understand the purpose of what they are doing now.
I also tailor my strategy for students who have upcoming exams by focusing on exam relevant quick revisions and solving test papers.
