I am enthusiastic about helping, supporting and teaching children and adults to learn as I believe that with the right opportunities, everyone can reach their full potential.

I have dedicated my time to studying towards being a Primary School Teacher. I like to take every opportunity to broaden my experiences and skills within education, such as travelling to Ghana and volunteering in an orphanage and school for three months in 2014.

I have a degree in Early childhood studies and I have successfully completed a PGCE in Primary Education.

Availability: I am available during the evenings from 5pm and during the weekends until 1pm.

Experience: I have a wide range of experience as I have worked in schools as a teaching assistant and teacher over the past 9 years. I have worked with children on a one to one basis and taught whole classes of children up to 32. Currently I am teaching as a Year 5 teacher. Furthermore, I have worked with children with a variety of special educational needs within mainstream and specialised settings. I have taught all subjects within the national curriculum.

Whilst on my teaching, I have taught ALL subjects, including: English, Maths, Science, Phonics (Letters and Sounds and Read, Write Inc), Guided Reading, History, Geography, Topic, PSHE, R.E and P.E.

Finally, during the last academic year (September 2015- July 2016) I tutored a girl in Year 6 for Maths and English who made radical progress, which enabled her to get into her first choice of high school.
