I am a recent Cambridge University graduate with First Class Hons in Modern and Medieval Languages, specifically French and German. I have studied French for over 10 years now and have an in-depth knowledge of the culture and history of the country as well as near-fluency in the language. I have studied German for four years and have a proficient grasp of the language and a particularly in-depth knowledge of its unique grammatical structure. Alongside my language studies, I chose to focus on literature and cinema throughout my degree, which has allowed me to develop my knowledge of textual and filmic analysis that can be applied to English Literature and Language teaching.

Experience: I have taken part in a voluntary tutoring scheme that involved providing support and teaching to a student hoping to get into Oxbridge. I helped develop their oral and written language fluency and accuracy with regular mock exam-style sessions, as well as discussing essays and their EPQ to suggest how they could be developed in terms of both content and language. This student received an offer to study French and Spanish at Cambridge.
