Elisa

I am a native Spanish speaker from Valencia, Spain, and a qualified educator with a PGCE in Spanish, a degree in Social Education and a qualification in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE).

I have experience teaching Spanish in UK secondary education and providing private tuition to children, teenagers and adults. I specialise in GCSE and A-Level Spanish and I am familiar with the current exam specifications.

My lessons are personalised according to each student`s level, goals and learning style. For GCSE and A-Level students, I work on speaking, listening, reading and writing, as well as grammar, vocabulary and exam technique. I introduce exam-style questions and past papers early so that students become familiar with the format and understand what examiners are looking for.

As a native Spanish speaker, I place particular emphasis on speaking and pronunciation and encourage students to use Spanish as much as possible, adapting this to their level and confidence.

I also teach adults at all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. Lessons can focus on conversation, practical Spanish, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, travel or general language development.

My aim is to create supportive and engaging lessons where students feel comfortable speaking Spanish, develop confidence and make consistent progress.
