Hello, I’m Tanisha, a third-year medical student with a strong academic background and a commitment to helping students achieve their goals. With two years of tutoring experience, I understand that learning is different for everyone, and I work to make challenging subjects more accessible and engaging. Having achieved ten 8/9s in my GCSEs and three A’s at A-level, I’m familiar with the dedication needed to excel academically and aim to share that knowledge effectively.

In addition to my studies, I’ve worked for two summers in a school’s SEN department, supporting children with special educational needs. This experience has deepened my understanding of patience, adaptability, and empathy in teaching, qualities I bring to each session. Experience: As a third-year medical student, I’ve developed a strong foundation in biology and chemistry, giving me an in-depth understanding of these subjects, which I bring to my tutoring sessions. Over the past two years, I have tutored students of varying abilities in biology, chemistry, and math at the GCSE level, which has equipped me with the skills to adapt to different learning needs and styles.

Additionally, my two summers working in a school’s SEN department gave me invaluable experience in supporting children with special educational needs, as well as students aged 11 to 17 from diverse backgrounds across the school. Working with students with such a range of learning styles and abilities has honed my adaptability and broadened my skill set, allowing me to engage and support each student effectively, whether they need a confidence boost, foundational reinforcement, or targeted exam preparation.
