Hello there! I am 24 years old and graduated from the University of Sussex this summer with a BA in Sociology and International Development. Teaching and learning languages is what I love to do. I am German and spent most of my life in Germany until I decided to move to the UK to study. I am a native speaker in German, and also entirely fluent in English and French. Having started learning languages at a very young age and continuing to study them up until today (I am currently learning Arabic), I know exactly what it is like to be a language student! I work very hard to guarantee that my students get the most out of the lessons, on top of that, I think it is important to make sure tutoring stays interesting and to do so I like to not structure all my lessons exactly the same and make sure students engage with the language outside of lessons by recommending books, films and other ways of practising.

Availability: I am available Monday to Friday.

Experience: I am a native German speaker and have lived in Germany until 5 years ago. As I have studied languages for over 14 years now, I know exactly what it is like to be a language student, and I know first-hand the difficulties that may come with studying languages if the teaching is not engaging and enjoyable. With all my students and their parents I work my hardest to figure out exactly what kind of teaching is needed so that you or your children will genuinely benefit in the short and long term. I am very flexible with hours so if more lessons are needed for example during exam time, I will definitely be available. I tutor all ages and all levels.
