Information about Archie
Teaching Mathematics at all levels (KS2, KS3, GCSE, A-Level).
Available for 1 hour or 2 hour lessons.
My aim is to make Maths fun, interesting and I teach by applying the mathematics to real life applications. I can go through exams or teach specific topics.
I am currently a University Student, studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bath. I achieved A* in Mathematics and further Mathematics at A-Level and 99% and 92% in my Math modules at University.

Experience: I have previously tutored 4 students at GCSE Level. Within these students I gained experience teaching students who has learning difficulties and the extra skills required to ensure that they are enjoying learning.

We have had Archie coming to the house for a few weeks to help with catchup work and GCSE exam revision for my daughter, who has missed a lot of school this year. He is relatively young and so has connected well with my daughter, but is also a mature and calm presence at a stressful time. He has been able to liaise with our school Maths department, but in the main has developed his own tailored strategy for covering the curriculum, establishing what is missing using past papers, and setting manageable amounts of homework practice between sessions. A Zoom session during Easter holidays did not work quite so well, due to technological difficulties. Apart from that, I would highly recommend him as a tutor in the Bath area.
