I am 27 and am currently a final year medical student at Liverpool University I have completed my final exams and am in the top 10% of my year. I have a previous upper second class honours degree in Biomedical Science from Cardiff University and A levels in Biology (A), Chemistry (A) and Geography (A). Prior to my medical degree I spent three years working in cardiac theatres learning a great deal about human physiology and its application to medical practise. I have a real passion for science and medicine and I recognise the importance of hard work in achieving my goals and believe I can ignite this quality in others. I really appreciate the importance of understanding underlying principles in order to learn and would use this when tutoring in addition to emphasising the importance of a calm approach to exams and strong exam technique.

Availability: Week day evenings.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: As well as experience teaching fellow students during placements in hospital, I am a keen horse rider and have spent time teaching riding for the disabled. This really helped me develop an individualised, patient approach to teaching.
