After gaining a Mathematics degree, I taught the subject up to A-level in Inner London Secondary Schools for 6 years.
I then changed direction and worked in IT for 16 years, firstly as a programmer then gradually moving into consultancy roles gaining wide experience in many areas of industry and finance.
In 2003, I left IT to move back into education and set myself up as Romaine Education where I now offer Maths tuition to students of all ages.
I encourage students to discover understanding for themselves. This helps them gain confidence and enjoyment in a subject which I feel should be available to all. My students and their parents say that I have a very calm approach to the tuition!
I am happy to tutor either at the students house or at my own house where I have a room dedicated just to maths!
I have a current DBS certificate which is renewed annually.
In my spare time I enjoy playing trombone with the local Mid Sussex Brass Band where I also conduct the highly successful Youth Band.

Availability: Sunday 09.15am to 6pm
Monday to Friday 9.15am to 9pm

At the moment (May 2020) I am not doing face to face tuition.

Vocational mathematics tuition for nurses, police, firefighters and medical students.
