I have interacted with over 20 students in core subjects from KS1 to A-level, enhancing academic performance by 20% through tailored support and resources!

I am Nikie a student at Imperial College London studying Chemistry with Management with maths and physics and global economics as optional modules. I am a highly organised and hardworking individual with experience working with students from a range of ages. I am patient and approachable and my aim is to help students succeed and boost their confidence in their academic studies. I wasn’t born from a privilege background. Hence, I want to play a part in helping to minimise the attainment gaps between students. Not only, do I teach the fundamental to succeed in exams but I will also be a mentor guiding students towards success.

I can teach Maths up to GCSE, A-level Economics (ONLY Edexcel A) and Chemistry. I speak English fluently and Chinese Mandarin at intermediate level.

I love to travel and explore new cultures all around the world. I like to go to the gym and play sports.

Experience: Science Teacher in a secondary school in the heart of London - Teaching maths and science to classes full of KS3 and GCSE students, dealing with behaviour management and implementing adaptive learning. Obtained a certificate in Safeguarding and pedagogical practice using Rosenshine`s Principles.

Tutor: I am a math tutor both online and in person. I set classwork and homework for individual students, teach students the key concepts and fundamental of math and chemistry, marking their work and giving instant feedback. I taught both Chemistry and Math up to A-level. I prepare lessons in advance so it is tailored to individual needs. I use difference teaching techniques to ensure my student understands each topic thoroughly.I helped push student to there limits and motivate them to try harder.

Volunteer Teaching Assistant: I helped a teacher teach a completely new language to a groups of 25 students aged 4-7. This role includes me having to help translate for students and interact with parents to give guidance on how to best support their child from my own experience.
