First and foremost, I love languages; I love teaching them and passing on my passion for them to other people. My style of tutoring is based on the ideal of learning the language rather than learning for an exam. Start slowly and build on pre-existing knowledge. Simple conversations grow more in-depth; a basic grasp of grammar develops into a deeper understanding; a limited range of ideas becomes highly individualised. All very important when it comes to setting oneself apart from the rest.

Availability: Weekdays; after school, preferably evenings

Experience: I have a first class honours degree in German, Dutch and Luxembourgish, as well as As in A Level German and French. I am currently studying for my Masters in Germanic Studies.
I also taught A Level and GCSE German so I understand what the course requires but also how best to tackle revising the content and preparing for the exams. In one year, I took GCSE students from an average 3 to an average grade 5, and A Level students achieved an average C grade, with half the class achieving a B grade.
