I am a fully qualified, DBS-checked teacher originally from Kettering but only returned here in 2015 so nobody can place the `neither up nor down` accent.
I teach locally in a secondary school and also supply teach for 1 day per week and through this I have covered a variety of core subjects.
My specialist subjects are Design (including resistant materials, product design, textiles & graphics) and Food Technology (now Food Preparation and Nutrition).
I have also lived and worked in France teaching English from 3-83 year olds with my TEFL qualification and as such I am comfortable teaching with books and literature or by alternative resources/means, including my own tailored resources to suit the clients` requirements.
In my spare time I run a local foodie group and enjoy teaching others how to cook and helping friends with recipe ideas.

Availability: Afternoons to early evening (4:30pm>7pm)Mon - Fri and weekends am or pm (subject to negotiation).

Experience: I am a qualified teacher of 10 years and I have taught in a variety of different schools both public and independent up to key stage 4 (A/S & A-Level).
I have been a staff governor, tutor, organised and run school groups, competitions and activities in addition to working with various trusts to promote nutrition and core food skills.
Working in France enabled me to work more with adults, baccalaureate students and groups of young children - which presented a variety of different teaching requirements and styles.
