Information about Megan
I have just finished my 3rd of studying Primary Education at Stranmillis University, where I have developed key skills on how to approach different subject areas, as well as preparing and teaching successful lessons. I achieved AAB at A Level in Drama, English Literature and Health and Social Studies. I am able to tutor primary ages and GCSE/ A Level English and Drama. With personalised and catered sessions pupils are able to make the most of each lesson.
Availability: Wednesday 9am - 7pm.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I am a 3rd year primary education student so therefore I have completed three 8 week placements teaching face to face lessons for Foundation Stage and both Key Stage 1 and 2. I have lots of experience in teaching literacy and numeracy, as well as tutoring GCSE and A-Level English to the CCEA curriculum but as I have a passion for literature, I could tutor different examine board texts. I also have 2 years of experience in 1:1 tutoring for primary and secondary school aged students, both in person and online.

Megan`s tutoring has made a huge difference to our son`s educational development. He has made a significant amount of progress over a very short period of time. Engaging, inspiring and developing a 6 year old via online tutoring is no easy feat, but Megan has managed this with ease and I`ve been extremely impressed with how she has been able to engage and inspire our child. She is extremely diligent, well prepared and on hand to give advice and support concerning our child`s educational needs. Our child looks forward every week to his time with Megan, he enjoys the sessions and looks forward to seeing Megan every time :-) This has taken a weight off our shoulders knowing that during these uncertain times, our son is up to date with his educational needs.
