My approach to teaching is one of patience, consideration and understanding of the need to nurture a learner`s confidence and motivation to ensure that they get the most out of each lesson.

Creativity and imagination play key roles in my teaching.
Using imagination and creativity can make even the most mundane of topics intriguing and at the same time engage students in the learning materials.

I believe that you can have fun and learn at the same time. I like to personalise lessons to a student`s personality and interests both of which I have found lead to great results.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends

Experience: Currently, I am privately tutoring students, on a one-to-one basis, in the following subjects:
-IELTS
-ESL (English as a Second Language)
-general English language usage (listening, reading, writing, speaking, grammar, vocabulary etc.)
-Key Stage 2 (primary)
-Key Stage 3 (secondary)
-GCSE English

I am an English graduate with a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) qualification which has given me vital training and practice in teaching English to adults at various levels.
This has also given me the skills to effectively prepare and deliver lessons at different levels.

I have the ability to teach native and non-native students everyone is welcome. All that is required is a positive attitude and heaps of motivation (from both of us).

In addition, I have over a years` worth of experience working in adult education as a Support Worker. Therefore, I understand the educational needs and requirements of adult learners and know how to maximise each students` learning potential by tailoring lessons to individual learning needs.
