I studied Biomedical Sciences at St Georges Medical School in London, followed by a 5 year Biochemistry PhD at the University of Sussex.

I worked as a Post-doctoral research scientist in the Biochemistry departments at both the University of Sussex and the University of Bristol and now hold a Head of Biology position at a school in Bristol, where I also take the lead role in preparing aspiring medics for medical school.

Having had science tuition myself for my A-levels, I fully appreciate what is needed from a tutor. I am patient and approachable and will adapt my teaching to your needs and work hard to achieve a good working relationship. I will cover whichever aspects you wish to cover and will always ensure that you understand each section fully before moving on to a new topic. Exam question practice will be included in every session.
