Available for online tutoring during COVID-19. I have a passion for learning and wish to share it with others. I am a qualified primary school teacher with experience in teaching and tutoring KS1 and KS2. I am currently a KS1 leader and lead practitioner at a school in Portsmouth. Whilst I currently teach primary education, I am fascinated with Psychology and feel this has helped my teaching due to understanding the behaviour of others and in particular - learning styles and intelligence. During my spare time, I volunteer at the local animal shelter or dive into reading. I am married, have two children and live in Lee on the Solent.

My lessons are always creative and engaging. I have extremely high expectations of myself and my pupils. I have studied different learning styles and ensure I adapt my teaching to suit the individual`s needs. My teaching resources have been downloaded over 100,000 times on the Times Educational Supplement website and have been used in their TES magazine several times. Before a lesson, I will assess the pupil`s abilities through email and this will enable me to mould my lesson plan to suit their needs. I will always give a verbal report to parents at the end of each lesson and set regular homework, the results helping to guide future lessons. My past tutees have all made great progress, achieving more than expected, including three students receiving head teacher awards for the quick progress they made.
